About the song
Inspired by the true story of five civilians who lost their lives helping their community during the 2022 Russian occupation of Bucha, Ukraine, Jason Andrew Griffith's latest song "Where I'll Stand" is a thought-provoking exploration of defiance and redemption using a distinctly old-school country & western sound highlighted with Bruce Hoffman's haunting fiddle and dobro work.
The song was produced by Paul Zacharias and recorded live-off-the-floor at his studio Wheelhouse Sound in High River, Alberta with a stellar cast of musicians including Bruce Hoffman (fiddle, dobro, and mandolin), Kyle Tenove (bass), Colin Carbonera (keys), and Pedro Trigueiro (drums).
"Where I'll Stand" will be available on all major music streaming platforms on October 22nd 2026.
